Paper presents the procedure that enables to compensate the errors caused by changes in material density at measuring moisture content with the microwave technique. Most promising way to reduce such error is the method based on measuring wave absorption and its phase displacement, using microwave frequency. Wider application of this method becomes possible owing to development of microwave instruments and fast-acting computers of high coputation capacity.
