Influence of proecological manuring technique on the quality of potato tuber yield

Paper presents the results of study on the effects of different forms of organic manuring and cultivation techniques on mechanical damage of potato tubers during mechanized harvest, the yield, participation of standard and large tubers in yield and on tuber chemical composition, crucial for their usefulness in processing into refined products and for consumption. Application of the organic manure, processed into biohumus form, and patch growing of potatoes improved the yield in quality or maintained the quality level comparable to that fertilized with farmyard manure at ridge cultivation
