Share of agriculture in creation of the social product and agrucultural employment

The author critically analyses the thesis that 27 percent of the population employed in agriculture produce 5-6 percent of the Gross Domestic product. Definition of people fully employed in agriculture is a crucial point where as well as making proper assessments resulting in figures comparable to those illustrating the employment outside farming. The author states that fully employed in agriculture make ca 14 percent of the total number of the people employed and they produce about 6 percent of the Gross Domestic product.
