Segetal weed communities on ecological and conventional farms within Lower Silesia

The aim of the study was a comparison within composition of segetal weed communities on ecological and conventional farms. It was stated that the composition of weed communitis depends mainly on cultivation technology of plants in rotation. The number of dominant weeds on ecological farms is approximately 3-5 times higher than on neighbouring (modern) ones with full use of herbicides. Even greather differences are noticed in weed infestation rate, which 25-50 percent affects yielding of crops
