Kinetin and gibberellin increased the uptake of nitrogen, mostly because of increased accumulation in leaves. Generally, the nitrogen content increased with an increase in the level of fertilization. The utilization of nitrogen from the fertilizers was dependent on the growth regulator and nitrogen dose. On average, the wheat sprayed with gibberellin utilized the fertilizer nitrogen the best (55.75 percent). The nitrogen doses utilized the best were 1.0 g N/pot in the case of spraying with kinetin and 0.5 g N/pot in other cases
