During the last 10 years fire blight has advanced toward our borders and we organized a systematic survey in 1998. We are reducing the risk of importing the disease by applying strict phytosanitary measures and systematic survey. We increased the number of survey points and tested samples every year and last year we found the first positive sample in Gorenjska region.
