Quality evaluation of pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) PLO1 line

The work presented here contains results of a research devoted to one of pepper lines bred. It was settled line of Capsicum annuum L. PLO1 against the two hybrid cultivars, Stanola F1 and Suzan F1. The research was carried out in an unheated greenhouse Line PLO1, respectively 5.75 and 4.26 kg/square m, was similar to those collected from hybrid cultivars. That fact makes it useful for a production under cover, also in severe climatic conditions of the north-east of Poland. High level of fruit mean weight as well as the thickness of its wall place line in a group of good quality cultivars. Low level of extract, with determines the delicate taste of fruit, was its peculiar feature
