During 3 years of studies the effect of shelterbelts, comprised of corn plants, on the flowering yielding of sweet pepper cv. Fen, grown in the field was investigated. The use of corn shelter-belts was conductive to early flowering and yielding of sweet pepper cultivated in a sheltered field. A shelterbelt twice longer than the length of a shelter-belts was stated at the distance to the shelter from 3 to 15 m, this distance being 2 to 7.5 times as long the corn plants height in full vegetation
