English. [We report the results of a research carried out in Campania in 1995/96 and 1996/97 with the aim of determining the production of strawberry grown under plastic (IR-PE) double tunnels. Comparisons were made of eight electrical conductivity (EC) levels (1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4 mS/cm) of the nutritive solutions, in factorial combination with crops arranged in pairs on double vertical layers; a split-plot design was arranged and each randomised treatment included 12 plants with three replications. A strawberry control crop was grown in the same tunnels with the current technique. Among the treatments, those based on nutrient solutions with an EC ranging from 1.6 and 2.0 mS/cm gave the highest yields, which, overall and in relation to the net unit surface area, exceeded the control by more than 45% (average of the two years). Due to the shade, the crop placed on the lower level showed less growth, lower fruit number and lower yield (7%). Daily ionic absorption, in mg per plant, showed an increasing trend, attaining the highest intensity at the maximum fructification rate during the second decade of May, in direct relation with water uptake]
Show more [+] Less [-]Italian. Vengono resi noti i risultati di una sperimentazione condotta in Campania nel 1995/96 e 1996/97 su fragola allevata in NFT sotto doppio tunnel in plastica (IRPE). Sono stati posti a confronto sedici trattamenti rappresentati da otto livelli di conducibilita' elettrica (1,0; 1,2; 1,4; 1,6; 1,8; 2,0; 2,2; 2,4 mS/cm) in combinazione fattoriale con coltivazioni realizzate in verticale su due ripiani sovrapposti; e' stato adottato uno schema sperimentale a parcelle suddivise, con tre ripetizioni, ed e' stata assunta, quale testimone, una coltivazione di fragola realizzata secondo la tecnica corrente. L'esito produttivo della coltura, soprattutto in NFT, e' risultato inferiore nel primo anno di prova. Tra i livelli di EC considerati, quelli compresi nell'ambito di 1,6 e 2,0 mS/cm hanno fornito le prestazioni quantitative migliori, che, considerate come somma dei due ripiani di coltivazione e riferite alla superficie unitaria utile, hanno superato di oltre il 45% (media del biennio) la produzione fatta registrare dal controllo. L'ombreggiamento subito dalle piante alloggiate sul ripiano piu' basso ha ridotto la loro crescita, il numero di frutti e, conseguentemente, la resa unitaria in misura del 7-8% circa. I consumi idrici delle colture hanno assunto i valori massimi nella seconda decade di maggio, analogamente all'assorbimento ionico giornaliero
