Seasonal rooting capacity of hardwood cutting propagated rootstocks [fruit species]

English. The rooting capacity of 15 rootstocks propagated for hardwood cuttings was evaluated during October, December and February. The cuttings were treated with IBA 1,000 ppm for 5 seconds and placed in a coconut peat bed with basal heating for four weeks. The results indicated that the rooting capacity of rootstocks was significantly sensitive to the timing of the hardwood cuttings harvest. The best rooting results were obtained when the cuttings were harvested during February
Show more [+] Less [-]Italian. E' stata valutata la capacita' rizogena di 15 portinnesti propagati per talea legnosa nei mesi di ottobre, dicembre e febbraio. Le talee sono state trattate con IBA 1.000 ppm per 5 secondi e messe in letto di torba di cocco con riscaldamento basale per 4 settimane. I risultati dimostrano che il periodo della raccolta delle talee legnose e' molto importante per la radicazione. I migliori risultati sono stati ottenuti nella radicazione del mese di febbraio
