English. We have briefly described the airblast sprayer as the spraying machine that has to be nowadays used in Citrus orchards. We have reported also about controls, adjustment and innovations in mechanised Citrus pest management and we have taken into account and work capacity and timeliness, because using spraying machines obliged to a new approach on field operations

Fra le moderne attrezzature per la difesa delle colture, e' stata brevemente descritta la turboirroratrice, ritenendola quella maggiormente adatta ad operare fra gli agrumeti. Sono state altresi' tratteggiate le problematiche relative a controlli, regolazioni e tarature delle macchine irroratrici, le innovazioni del comparto e le linee di tendenza. Particolare attenzione e' stata posta sui fattori che influenzano la capacita' di lavoro di queste macchine e sulla necessita' di un mutato approccio in merito alla tempestivita' del trattamento rispetto alle attrezzature manuali
