Le comportement des pucerons est influencé par des sémiochimiques à action intraspécifique, les phéromones. Le présent travail constitue une synthèse des connaissances actuelles sur les phéromones d’alarme des pucerons. Le rôle de ces substances dans la biologie du puceron est décrit. L’auteur précise et discute les possibilités offertes par les phéromones d’alarme comme moyens d’intervention contre les pucerons, notamment dans la lutte contre la propagation de viroses végétales.
Show more [+] Less [-]Aphid behaviour is influenced by intraspecific semiochemicals, the pheromones. This work is a synthesis of present knowledge concerning aphid alarm pheromones. The role of these chemicals in the biology of aphids is described. The potential of alarm pheromones as a means for aphid control is analyzed and discussed. It is suggested that these chemicals or derivatives may be used as aphid repellents and hence may reduce the spread of virus diseases in crop plants.
