The aim of the II part of the study was to evaluate the impact of bacterial preparation addition to drinking water on the composition of gut microbiota, biochemical parameters of blood, as well as morphology of broilers chickens in nutritional experiment. The experiment was performed at 250 Ross 308 broiler chickens reared for 42 days. The experimental factor was the addition of the preparation containing Lactobacillus plantarum K KKP 593/p and Lactobacillus rhamnosus KKP 825 strains to the drinking water at the dose of 0,1 g/L (1,0 x 108 cfu L-1). During the experimental period the broilers were fed with mash feed (starter, grower, finisher). Feed and water were provided for ad libitum consumption. At the end of rearing period chickens were slaughtered, the content of intestinal and blood samples were collected. Results on analysis showed that addition of bacterial preparation to the drinking water decreased the number of E. coli and completely inhibited the growth of Clostridium perfringens in the gastrointestinal tract of chickens. Furthermore, bacterial preparation additive did not impact on the biochemical and morphological blood parameters. It was concluded that bacterial preparation consisting Lactobacillus plantarum K KKP 593/p and Lactobacillus rhamnosus KKP 825 strains added to drinking water stabilizes the intestinal microflora and does not have a negative impact on the health status of chickens broilers.
