Agrarian sector and prospects for the development of hunting and fishing tourism in Georgia.

In order to study the sustainable development of hunting-fishing tourism, in 2021 a Memorandum of Joint Collaboration was signed between the Georgian Technical University, the hunting farm "Hunting Tour Gorgia" and the Hunting-Fishing Club "Legion". A study of bio-resources and sustainable development opportunities in Pshavi (hunting area) was planned. The Master's Degree student, of the "Educational Plant Growing Technology" program of the Faculty of Agrarian Sciences and Bio-Systems Engineering at the Georgian Technical University, who studies the medicinal, aromatic, poisonous and other plant species found in the existing ecosystem and the zoning of their distribution, was actively involved in the works. One of the important areas of research was also the study of free breeding, animal husbandry and their well-being of hunting objects in the hunting ecosystem. Although today this area belongs to the category of protected areas, it is closely bordered by the local population, which in turn poses a risk of conflict of interest of domestic and wildlife. Thus, the study of existing resources and proper management is a prerequisite for the sustainable development of hunting and tourism infrastructure. Preliminary data from the experiment show that the natural ecosystem of the hunting farm "Hunting Tour Gorgia" is rich in hunting facilities. They have an abundant food base in their habitat, which contributes to their free animal life and well-being. In addition, due to the historical past, there are many "settlements" of old settlements in the area, which in turn creates a perspective for the development of ethno and ecotourism along with the hunting-fishing direction.
