English. Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) is one of the most economically important cereals and holds fourth place in the world by harvest area. Powdery mildew, caused by the pathogenic fungus Blumeria graminis f. sp. hordei, is one of the most important diseases that decrease the quantity and quality of the yield. Since there is a limited number of resistance genes presented in cultivated crop varieties, there is a need to search and identify new sources of resistance.

Mączniak prawdziwy, powodowany przez grzyb patogeniczny Blumeria graminis f. sp. hordei, jest jedną z najważniejszych chorób wpływających negatywnie na ilość i jakość plonu jęczmienia. Ograniczona pula genów odporności wykorzystywanych w odmianach uprawnych stwarza potrzebę poszukiwania i identyfikacji nowych źródeł odporności.
