Relationship between exterior features with milk component composition of Ayrshire cows | Связь экстерьерных признаков с компонентным составом молока у айрширских коров

In order to effectively manage the genetic resources of the Ayrshire cattle population and conduct a target selection of the parent group to improve traits related to productive longevity and milk quality, the relationship between the linear assessment of the conformation, as well as the udder and leg indices (UDC and FLC) with the main indicators of the component composition of milk was identified. In one of the breeding farms Ayrshire cows (n=118) were studied in the Leningrad region, as well as a database on productivity and exterior characteristics of cows of the 1st lactation for 2021. As a result of the exterior type assessment, it was found that the quality of the udder of cows of the first calving had, on average, positive estimates: UDC = +1.0 ± 0.09 units of genetic deviation, due to the high rates of attachment of the front udder lobes, the height of attachment of the hind lobes and the udder cleft. An average negative value of the leg composition index (FLC = -0.2±0.07) is noted, which is associated with a low classification score of the limbs and insufficient heel height in the study animals. Cows with better udder attachment and strong legs from the groups UDC not less than 0 and FLC not less than 0 produced milk with a high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) by 0.008 g/100 g (P not more than 0.01), but, milk from cows with more healthy limbs contained less somatic cells (SCC), urea and medium chain fatty acids (MCFA). The difference between the groups UDC not less than 0 and UDC not less than 0 in terms of SCC content was 153.97 thousand/ml. There were positive correlations between hoof angle (FA) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) r=0.346 (P not more than 0.001) and FA and monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) r=0.208 (P not more than 0.01). The studies found negative correlations of the UDC index with urea r=-0.235 (P not more than 0.01) and SCC r=-0.181 (P not more than 0.05), and the FLC index and Urea r=-0.332 (P not more than 0.001) and FLC and SCC r=-0.180 (P not more than 0.05).

Чтобы эффективно управлять генетическими ресурсами популяции айрширского крупного рогатого скота и проводить направленный подбор родительской группы для улучшения признаков продуктивного долголетия и качества молока, выявляли взаимосвязи линейной оценки экстерьера, а также индексов вымени и ног (UDC и FLC) с основными показателями компонентного состава молока. В одном из племенных хозяйств Ленинградской области изучали коров айрширской породы (n=118), а также базу данных по продуктивности и экстерьерным признакам коров 1-й лактации за 2021 г. В результате оценки экстерьерного типа установили, что качество вымени коров первого отела в среднем имело положительные характеристики: UDC=1,0±0,09 единиц генетического отклонения из-за высоких показателей прикрепления передних долей вымени, высоты прикрепления задних долей и борозды вымени. Отмечено в среднем отрицательное значение индекса композиции ног (FLC = -0,2±0,07), что связано с невысокой классификационной оценкой конечностей и недостаточной высотой пятки у исследуемых животных. Коровы с более качественным прикреплением вымени и крепкими ногами из групп UDC не менее 0 и FLC не менее 0 производили молоко с большим содержанием полиненасыщенных жирных кислот (PUFA) на 0,008 г/100г (P не более 0,01), но в молоке коров с более здоровыми конечностями было меньше соматических клеток (SCC), мочевины (Urea) и среднецепочечных жирных кислот (MCFA). Разница между группами UDC не менее 0 и UDC меньше 0 по содержанию SCC составила 153,97 тыс./мл. Найдены положительные корреляции между углом копыта (FA) и полиненасыщенными жирными кислотами (PUFA) r=0,346 (P не более 0,001), а также FA и мононенасыщенными жирными кислотами (MUFA) r=0,208 (P не более 0,01).
