Una de las problemáticas ambientales que más afecta a la población presente en la zona rural de nuestro país, es la falta de abastecimiento de agua potable apta para el consumo humano, tal es el caso de la Vereda Laguna Verde de la Localidad de Sumapaz – Bogotá D.C, quienes, aunque cuentan con la infraestructura de un acueducto verdal, no cuentan con el suministro de agua potable. Por tal razón, el presente trabajo se enfocó en realizar una descripción de la infraestructura, del funcionamiento y de la cobertura del acueducto veredal Laguna Verde, en aras de proponer alternativas de mejoramiento para la prestación del servicio.

Therefore, the present work focused on making a description of the infrastructure, operation and coverage of the Laguna Verde rural aqueduct, and the improvement alternatives for the provision of the service.
