Apoyo técnico y logístico a la gestión ambiental del centro de estudios aeronáuticos y de la Unidad Administrativa Especial de Aeronáutica Civil | Technical and logistical support for the environmental management of the Aeronautical Studies Center and the Special Administrative Unit of Civil Aeronautics

La unidad administrativa especial de aeronáutica civil tiene como misión trabajar por el desarrollo ordenado de la aviación civil, de la industria aérea y la utilización segura del espacio aéreo colombiano contribuyendo al mejoramiento de la competitividad del país, todo esto a través de una visión de responsabilidad ambiental y cumplimiento de estándares de seguridad operacional referente a la infraestructura aeronáutica y aeroportuaria del orden nacional e internacional para esto la Aerocivil estableció seis (6) objetivos a partir de los cuales se desarrollaron las líneas de acción de la institución; y es el objetivo número cuatro en el que se basa la realización de este proyecto. Es objetivo de la Aerocivil Minimizar los impactos negativos que genera el transporte aéreo sobre el medio ambiente y los recursos naturales integrando este objetivo en la política ambiental, de la cual resalta el compromiso para la eliminación de factores ambientales de riesgo, racionalización del uso de materiales y energía, disminución en la generación de residuos y cumplimiento de la normatividad ambiental aplicable(Aerocivil, 2000) de igual forma todas estas actividades están directamente vinculadas con el centro de estudios aeronáuticos (CEA) y su línea de investigación “protección del medio ambiente” En este sentido el proyecto pretende vincular los conocimientos de un ingeniero ambiental que permita desarrollar el transporte aéreo teniendo en cuenta las características especificas que posee la gestión ambiental del mismo, de la mano de la investigación y la educación ambiental.

The special administrative unit of civil aeronautics has as its mission to work for the orderly development of civil aviation, the airline industry and the safe use of Colombian airspace contributing to the improvement of the country's competitiveness, all this through a vision of responsibility environmental and compliance with safety standards related to the aeronautical and airport infrastructure of the national and international order for this Aerocivil established six (6) objectives from which the lines of action of the institution were developed; and it is the objective number four on which the realization of this project is based. The aim of the Aerocivil is to minimize the negative impacts that air transport generates on the environment and natural resources by integrating this objective into environmental policy, which highlights the commitment to eliminate environmental risk factors, rationalization of the use of materials and energy, decrease in the generation of waste and compliance with applicable environmental regulations (Aerocivil, 2000). Likewise, all these activities are directly linked to the Center for Aeronautical Studies (CEA) and its line of research "environmental protection" In this sense, the project aims to link the knowledge of an environmental engineer that allows the development of air transport taking into account the specific characteristics of the environmental management of the same, hand in hand with research and environmental education.
