English. In many countries, especially economically developed ones, the formation of a healthy lifestyle, including through a balanced diet, is an integral part of public policy. First, this is due to concerns about the growth of non-communicable diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and problems with the cardiovascular system among the population. To solve this problem, in particular, foods with specified properties due to adding various biologically active compounds are being developed and produced. Such kind of food is known as functional food products (FFP). The FFP production is steadily growing on a global scale. In 2022, the volume of the global FPP market amounted to more than 300 billion US dollars in monetary terms. The leaders in the market volume of these products are the USA, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. In economically developed countries, much attention is paid to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and nutrition. The state, as a rule, supports the development, production, and promotion of FFP to the market. In Russia, not enough attention has been paid to the issues of healthy nutrition, although in recent years the work in this direction has been increasingly active. The country has adopted "The Strategy for improving the quality of food products in the Russian Federation until 2030", in pursuance of which the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation has approved "The Strategy for the formation of a healthy lifestyle of the population, prevention and control of non-communicable diseases for the period up to 2025". The popularity of FFP among the population is gradually growing, which stimulates the demand and development of this segment of the food market.

Во многих странах, особенно экономически развитых, формирование здорового образа жизни, в том числе за счет сбалансированного рациона питания, является составной частью государственной политики. Это связано с озабоченностью по поводу роста среди населения таких неинфекционных заболеваний как ожирение, диабет, проблемы с сердечно-сосудистой системой. В целях решения этого вопроса, в частности разрабатываются и производятся продукты питания с заданными свойствами за счет добавления различных биологически активных соединений. Это т.н. функциональные продукты питания (ФПП), производство которых неуклонно растет в глобальном масштабе. В 2022 г. объем мирового рынка ФПП составил в денежном выражении более 300 млрд долл. США. Лидеры по объёму рынка указанной продукции – США, Япония, Республика Корея, Германия, Франция, Великобритания. В экономически развитых странах большое внимание уделяется пропаганде здорового образа жизни и питания, государство, как правило, поддерживает разработку, производство и продвижение на рынок ФПП. В России вопросам здорового питания пока уделяется недостаточно внимания, хотя в последние годы работа в этом направлении ведется все более активно. В стране была принята "Стратегия повышения качества пищевой продукции в Российской Федерации до 2030 г.", во исполнение которой Министерством здравоохранения России утверждена "Стратегия формирования здорового образа жизни населения, профилактики и контроля неинфекционных заболеваний на период до 2025 г.". Постепенно растет популярность ФПП среди населения, что стимулирует спрос и развитие данного сегмента продовольственного рынка.
