This article is devoted to the subtropical crop Ziziphus jujuba Mill. Unabi fruits have unique flavour properties and contain high concentrations of biologically active substances. In the article varieties and varieties of Ziziphus are considered, pomological characteristics of fruits of the most popular variety Ziziphus jujuba are determined: size, shape, colour, pulp taste, chemical composition is studied. Prospects for the use of Ziziphus jujuba fruits were collected and analysed.
