Species composition of phytopathogens of onion in seed production in Belarus

The article presents the research results on the species composition of phytopathogens of onion in the seed production of original and reproduction seeds in Belarus. It was established that the most common and harmful diseases of onion seed plants during the growing season are mildew, stemphiliosis, alternariosis, bacterial rot, cladosporiosis, star-shaped jaundice. The percentage of diseased mother bulbs of onions during storage, depending on the variety sample, varied from 0.6 to 16.6 % in 2019 and from 1.0 to 20.2% in 2020. The contamination of seeds depends on species composition. On onion seeds the infection of Alternaria, Clacrosporium, Aspergillus, Botrytis and Penicillium fungi is detected. A bacterial infection is also detected. The species composition of infections did not depend on the cultivated variety and-growing conditions. / Представлены результаты изучения видового состава фитопатогенов лука репчатого при семеноводстве оригинальных и репродукционных семян в условиях Беларуси. Установлено, что наиболее распространенными и вредоносными болезнями семенников лука репчатого в период вегетации являются ложная мучнистая роса (пероноспороз), стемфилиоз, альтернариоз, бактериальная гниль, кладоспориоз, звездообразная желтуха. Процент пораженных болезнями маточных луковиц лука репчатого при хранении в зависимости от сортообразца колеблется от 0,6 до 16,6% в 2019 г. и от 1,0 до 20,2% в 2020 г. Заспоренность семян зависит от сортового состава. На семенах лука репчатого отмечено наличие инфекции грибов рода Alternaria, Clacrosporium, Aspergillus, Botrytis и Penicillium. Обнаружена бактериальная инфекция. Видовой состав инфекций не зависел от возделываемого сорта и условий выращивания.
