Abstract: The nutritional needs of teenagers are explored in this brochure from General Mills. A daily food guide shows the recommended number of daily servings from each of the major food groups. Special considerations is given to teenagers' needs for energy (calories), vitamins, and minerals. Suggestions are given on how to 1) help the teenage girl with her weight reduction diet, 2) provide nutritious snacks for teens, 3) get teenagers interested in breakfast, and 4) convey the message of good nutrition by appealing to teenagers' interest in their appearance.
