The cookbook includes gourmet recipes with computer analysis of nutritional content of each recipe. The analyses follow the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) for calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins, and minerals for each serving. Recipes are included for appetizers, soups, entrees, salads, drinks, desserts, and sauces. Facts, fables and food misinformation on basic foods, food fads, and vitamins are discussed. Instructions for recipe selection and food preparation are presented to assist in planning balances, nutritious meals. Hints on ingredient choices are discussed.
