Molecular and physiological basis of nematode survival
2011
This book with twelve chapters shows that research in nematodes has basically progressed from investigating the physiological and biochemical methods utilized by some species to ensure survival of adverse conditions to incorporate the more recent molecular advances. It is the intention of this book not only to reflect some of the older research that is still relevant and important but also to link it with the more recent advances facilitated by molecular biology. Essentially, the book examines ways by which a nematode can suspend development during unfavourable conditions and ensure survival.
