Harold Kent Street (1931-1981) was an agricultural journalist who worked in both the public and private sectors. Street was employed by several agencies within the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) during the mid-1960s and late 1970s, including the Agricultural Research Service, the Farm Credit Administration, and the Farmers' Home Administration. In the private sector, Street served as an agricultural reporter for the American Banker Newspaper, the Dakota Farmer, the Hartford Courant, Successful Farming, Agri-Finance, the Rural New Yorker, and the University of Connecticut, as well as an editor for publications at Kraft Foods and the Independent Bankers' Association of America.
