Consists of material used for teaching Navajo ranchers and farmers in food safety and sustainable agriculture practices in one of 25 seminars held in 2000 or 2001 at different locations on the Navajo Reservation. Navajo farmers were trained in pesticide safety, modern integrated pest management techniques, modern production practices, and sustainable agricultural practices. Navajo ranchers were trained in beef quality assurance, livestock management, herd health, livestock handling safety, noxious weeds, Navajo livestock insects and their control, selection and culling of beef and sheep, and range management.
