An October 14, 1994 satellite teleconference on worldwide concern about water supply, focusing on the problem of providing enough water for world food growth and the problems faced by local, national and international agencies in the policy choices for the future. The first hour is a panel discussion on water resources, including topics on Latin American concerns, water and irrigation, and the California experience in agriculture. The second hour presents a documentary film on problems of water resources in California, showing conflicts of urban, agricultural and environmental interests and solutions to them. The third hour is a question and answer segment.
