The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and the WGBH Educational Foundation provide an online supplement to the "Frontline" television program entitled "The Killer at Thurston High." The program was originally aired on January 18, 2000. The supplement and program investigated the case of Kip Kinkel (1982- ), a 15-year old high school student who shot and killed his parents and two classmates on May 20 and 21, 1998. Kinkel was sentenced to 111 years without parole. Interviews, a synopsis, and other materials are available online.
