1984
Liebler, Joan Gratto | Levine, Ruth Ellen | Dervitz, Hyman Leo
Abstract: A reference book provides guidance for those in health care management who have had no formal training. Part 1 examines selected management functions (planning, organizing, decision making, staffing, directing, communicating, and motivating). Part 2 looks at the organizational environment and dynamics: clientele networks, survival strategies, and personal, work group, and organizational conflict. Principles of psychology and sociology are applied to help managers gain insight into management problems to help them develop inner and outer harmony in a health care setting. (kbc).
