Extract: This report presents the net present values associated with biogas-to-electricity systems (BES) for five farm sizes under alternative situations. The results show that farm size, electricity price projections, and the quantity of electricity produced had a major effect on the feasibility of the BES investment. Alternative assumptions regarding tax credits and interest rates were also analyzed, but these two factors had only a marginal impact on the investment's feasibility.
