The ISU Cooperative Extension Service was founded in 1906, established by the Iowa General Assembly. The Service works with a variety of organizations, agencies, and institutions, and offers programs on agricultural production, conservation of natural resources, family and farm living, 4-H club work, youth development, and community improvement.
