Extract: The purpose of this study was to make an economic evaluation of electricity generation from anaerobically digested manure on a 220-cow dairy farm. The net present value method was used to determine the economic viability of five digestion systems based on data from the digester recently built and put into operation by the Sunny Valley Foundation in New Milford, Connecticut.
