Birefringence Measurements on Circular Cylindrical Polyethylene Fibers of Multiple Skin

The principal refractive indices of polyethylene fiber were calculated using a mathematical formulation of multiplebeam Fizeau fringes crossing a core surrounded by multiple skin. The discrepancy between the resulting data and the published one are discussed.
