Nutritional status and quality of life are closely correlated in cancer patients. Malnutrition is an independent risk factor of bad quality of life during the course of cancer. Nutritional support is associated with quality of life improvement in head and neck cancer patients with radiochemotherapy. Early dietetic counselling is the more efficient. And artificial nutrition efficacy on quality of life is not proved.
