All sorts of machines which are used for manufacturing various bio-products are required by users to provide high efficiency and high quality, so manufacturers have been continuing to develop high efficiency automating machines. The research and development of bio-products are generally made in the R&D stages. Among these bio-products thus developed, marketable ones are produced by bio-machines in the production stages. High efficiency and automation are required not only in bio-machines to produce bio-products but also in instruments and apparatus to develop bio-products. In this paper, we will introduce the recent trend in the automation equipments and bio-machines in the R&D stages and the production stages. Discussion will also be made on future direction in the automation of bio-machines.
