Light Relations of Psoralea Subacaulis T. & G. (Leguminosae)

Plants of Psoralea subacaulis were grown under three light regimes, 15, 40, and 100% full sunlight, and the photosynthetic rates were measured at 18° and 25°C at various light intensities and that it does poorly in the shade. Field observations that P. subacaulis is an obligate heliophyte are thus verified.
