Assessment of Satisfaction Level towards Farm Magazines-A Case Study of Punjab Agricultural University

The present study was based on respondents response towards two agriculture information enriched farm magazines i.e. Progressive Farming in English and Changi Kheti in Punjabi brought out by Punjab Agricultural University. It was found that at present there are more than 1.5 lakh subscribers of these magazines and is increasing at a good rate of growth. The study also revealed that majority of the respondents were satisfied with the timeliness of the information and content of the magazines. But still, there is a need for the awareness of the farmers regarding these useful magazines as these can work as a good source of dissemination of valuable information regarding agricultural innovations and new varieties developed in the field of agriculture.
