Determination of bovine alpha S1-casein alleles B and C by allele-specific polymerase chain reaction
1992
Schlee, P. | Rottmann, O.
SUMMARY: Allele-specific polymerase chain reaction was used to differentiate alleles B and C of the bovine αS₁ casein gene. The method is simple, rapid and reliable. It allows genotyping of animals of any age or sex, so that identification of alleles can be used in cattle breeding.
