SynopsisSoybean yields were positively correlated (0.01) with plant height at maturity, lodging, weight of 100 seeds, seed-bearing nodes, number of pods, and number of seeds per plant, and negatively correlated (0.01) with weed yields, height of lowest pod, bushel weights, and oil percentage of seed. Weed control treatments of tillage, row spacing, and amiben had a marked effect on the characters affecting soybean yields.
