Three new pterocarpans, erystagallins A-C, were isolated from the wood of Erythrina crista-galli, together with the three known pterocarpans, cristacarpin, phaseollidin and 2-(gamma,gamma -dimethylallyl)-6 alpha -hydroxyphaseollidin. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of the spectroscopic evidence.
