Eating patterns of massively obese individuals
1978
Bray, George A.
Methods and findings are reported from a study of thirty seven obese individuals. The dietary histories and objective measures of food intake had a significant correlation, and the quantity of food eaten was sufficient to account for the weight gain. An initial dietary history registered lower caloric intake than a third history obtained from the same patient. Following intestinal bypass surgery, food intake and the pattern of food ingestion were both significantly altered. Tables show statistical data.
