Investigation of microelement content of bulk milk from different regions of Italy
1988
Baldini, M. | Bocca, A. | Mosca, M.
A study of heavy metal (Pb, Cd, Zn, Cr, Cu) contamination of milk samples obtained from different regions of Italy at different times of the year revealed no trends or peaks of such contamination, and no relationship of heavy metal content with the type of animal diet used or the level of pollution in the various regions. Rather, the results were found to be random and unpredictable. The data, experimental procedure, and analysis method (atomic absorption spectrophotometry) are described.(wz)
