Production of extracellular phytase from Aspergillus ficuum on starch media
1987
Cultures grown on Hylon corn starch media produced the highest levels of phytase. Phospholipid extraction of Hylon starch did not change its effectiveness as a substrate. Cultures grown on phosphorylated dextrins from Hylon corn starch produced equivalent amounts of phytase.
