The keys to successful weight loss are desire and retraining. Four basic ingredients that are necessary for that success are discussed. These are motivation, insight, practice, and attitude. The best diet is no diet; enjoyment of a variety of foods, but not too much of them, is advised. Ways to reduce fat intake, to increase fiber in the diet and to successfully lose and control weight are listed. Height weight tables and a sample daily diet record are shown.
