1992
Chialva, F. | Monguzzi, F. | Manitto, P. | Speranza, G. | Akgul, A.
The essential oil of the leaves of Persea gratissima Gaertner cultivated in Turkey was investigated using GC and GC/MS. Twenty-nine of the thirty-six compounds were identified. The bulk of the oil is represented by methyl chavicol (78%). The content in this allylphenol appears to be higher than that normally found in the tarragon and basil oils.
