Efficiency of bark beetles catch to pheromone trap in atypical conditions

The data of bark beetle catches, especially of European spruce bark beetle - Ips typographus and six-toothed spruce bark beetle - Pityogenes chalcographus, to the pheromone traps in atypical conditions of urbanized landscape - roof of the LVÚ Zvolen building since 1982 till 2009, i.e. 28 years were summarized. Trough this period several comparative essays were realized, which were helpful for testing new development preparations, for streamlining of the pheromone methods application details and monitoring of several species of bark beetles. During entire observation more than 5 mil. imagoes of six-toothed spruce bark beetle (max. 698 thousand imagoes in 2007) and almost 32 thousand imagoes of European spruce bark beetle (max. 3 570 imagoes in 2007) were catched. In 2007 also 90 imagoes of quarantine pest northern bark beetle - Ips duplicatus were catched.
