Nutrition grows at the end of a grapevine
1987
O'Brien, D.M.
According to recent sales and consumption figures, grapes are becoming more popular across the U.S. A new variety of red seedless grapes is partially responsible for this increased popularity. The following characteristics of grapes are described: optimal growing and storage conditions, appearance, nutrient contents, use in recipes, and government inspection standards. New production and harvesting systems that are increasing the yield per acre of grapes and extending their shelf life are discussed.
