Effect of integrated nutrient management on yield of tuberose flowers

An investigation on the effect of integrated nutrient management on yield and quality of tuberos was carried out during kharif season of the year 2012–13 at the farm of Horticulture Section, College of Agriculture, Nagpur. There were 11 treatment combinations comprising of organic manures and inorganic fertilizers. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with three replications. The results obtained indicated that, the physico-chemical properties and available nutrient status in the soil was superior after harvesting tuberose, 50% N through Vermicompost + 50% N through urea + P and K (RDF). Number tuberose which received 50% of spikes and number of flowers per spike, were maximum under the same treatment.
