Equilibrium moisture contents of cracked and whole corn (maize)
1991
Throne, J.E.
The equilibrium moisture contents of finely cracked; medium cracked; coarsely cracked; whole, damaged; and whole, undamaged corn (maize) kernels were determined at 43 and 75% relative humidities and 30 degrees C. Cracked and whole corn equilibrated to the same moisture contents. This indicates that differences in progeny production of Cryptolestes ferrugineus in an earlier study were not caused by differences in equilibrium moisture content of the types of corn used.
