Learning is the process of acquiring skills, knowledge and/or attitudes. The five senses are the channels through which an individual is stimulated. The way in which adults learn differs significantly from the way in which children learn. Some point that instructors should keep in mind when they teach adults are highlighted. An instructor's basic challenge is to promote change in the learners. If this does not happen, no learning has taken place.
